Seeking data on Sarah RODMAN & mother Roseann RODMAN. Sarah listed on the 1850 Census Index for Preble Co., OH. Roseann RODMAN (widow) on 1830 Perry Co., OH, Census. Roseann CUSAC RODMAN who would have been staying with daughter Sarah by Perry Co., OH, Unity Presbyterian records. Rose was living in 1843 & would be age 75 by 1850. Thank you.

I am looking for relatives of Isreal and Eliza C. MCGRIFF. I am the great-granddaughter of John Wilson MCGRIFF one of twelve children. He was born near Columbus, OH, Jan. 13, 1845. Some of the names I have are Macillus, Ells Jo, Christian J., Mary P., Lizabeth J., William, Leona. These names were taken from 1860 census Harrison township, Preble Co.

I would love to find some relatives!! I am researching my HUFFMAN line from Preble County. I would love to hear from any descendats of the following people: Armstead HUFFMAN b. 1785 d. 1857 buried in Preble County; Nathaniel HUFFMAN b. 1816 in Preble d. 1880 in Preble; John HUFFMAN b. 1859 in Preble d. 1904 in Preble.

John had 3 children: Ernest, Mattie, and Harry. Harry was my Great Grandfather. Mattie is said to have married a BROWN. Ernest had 2 children that I know of. Ordessa? and Harley J.

Looking for any information on Andrew FRY who was living in Preble County, Dixon Twp. in 1850; Charolette ? FRY wife; Elizabeth and Mary, daughters.

I found Andrew and his family in 1860 in Indian Territory west of Arkansas which is now Oklahoma where I live, but after that they dropped out of sight. I have been told that Andrew was killed in the Civil War and Charolette died three days later. William W. FRY is my gr-grandfather and I know what happened to him but the rest of the family I don't know.

I am searching for information regarding the following Preble Co. residents during the period of 1830 - 1900: William F. CHASE, his wife Catherine A. ??). Their children: William O., Anna L., Leonora, Ellen N., Mary F., Lilly G. I am searching for the parents of William F. CHASE, whose father was born in MA and mother was born in OH. In the 1880 Census, William and Catherine were both 39 years old, living in Eaton. William F. CHASE lived on a farm and worked in a shoe store.

I am looking for any information regarding the following KINCAID family relatives who lived in Eaton from at least 1850 through 1880: John M. KINCAID and Sarah D. DUGGINS KINCAID or their children Isora and Anna. I believe they were married on 06/24/60. John M. KINCAID's father was John KINCAID (born somewhere in Virginia). His mother (Mary MOODY ?) was born in Virginia. Sarah D. DUGGINS' father was born in Virginia and mother born in Kentucky.

Daniel BLACK - owned 160 acres in Preble Co., Ohio- came to Ohio from Germany with his parents. His son, Daniel, was born and died in Preble Co. His grandson, Uriah, was born on 6 Nov 1806 in Preble Co. and moved to Clinton Co., IN. Uriah died in Clinton Co., IN, in 1882. I need info about the first Daniel. Thanks.

Elizabeth LIEGLARGER may have been b. in Preble County, Ohio in March of 1813. She married John Charles OSWALT. He was born in PA and died December 30, 1884, at Roann, Indiana. It is believed that he was a Doctor. She also died in Indiana. I believe their son was called "Charley" OSWALT. I know nothing about her precedents. Please E-Mail me if the name is one you recognize. Alexander HAMILTON moved with his family including his children: John HAMILTON married to Elizabeth, Samuel HAMILTON married to Jane SMITH, Israel HAMILTON married to Jane STEPHENSON, Jane HAMILTON married to Samuel BELL, and Nancy HAMILTON married to John MILLER. Alexander HAMILTON died in Preble County in 1817 and is buried in Hopewell Cemetery. Seeking information on Alexander's wife, any other children of Alexander.
