ACKERMAN, BETTS, BRISCOE, BRISKEY, FOSTER, HOLLADAY, MEADOWS, MERCK, NORRIS, REGAAN, REGAN, ROBINSON, SMILEY posted by P Rodriguez on Tuesday, January 4, 2000

I'm looking for a few missing sisters of my 96th District, SC BRISKEY/BRISCOE family. They were born between 1790-1805 SC and their names were; Peggy, Kate, Polly, Margaret, and Elizabeth. Two of these sisters married FOSTER grooms in SC and one married a Mr REGAN or REGAAN. The family history doesn't give any more clues as that. I figure that these sisters and their new families traveled up to Preble Co., Ohio. Nicholas BRISKEY (b ca 1767), their father is said to have moved into one of their homes shortly before his death after 1810 SC. Their mother's name was Susannah E MERCK, SC. Other surnames associated with this family are; MEADOWS, NORRIS, ACKERMAN, BETTS, ROBINSON, HOLLADAY, SMILEY.
